Tujhse Naaraz Nahi Zindagi...
Chookar Mere Maan Ko...
Kuch Na Kaho, Kuch bhi na kaho...

These are nice songs and too good to listen any time esp in the evening...Each line of these songs are so true and meaningful unlike the recent few songs...

The Old Times...

Here is a snap of me with my cousins at the home... so small i was at that i hardly remember that this photo was taken. We all always had a nice time when we got together during festivals or functions. Ya, we never used to be there at the functions, hmmm... we all used to plan to go to some restaurent and rome around the old place. That were the too good days...no tensions...no worries... no work just go around the town...play cricket, or prepare a fan by using DC motor (ya young scientist at work) or take the bicycle and go to a nearby Waterfalls (some 20 kms from my house...that was to be an adveture) now a MBA Finance graduate!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Me, Amol, Santosh, Vinu, Mayu and Pammu...

Wel the time does not remain the same, each moment goes by giving some memories... I remember the hindi poem i had during my school...bar bar aati hai mujhko madhur yaad bachpan teri...

Nice Thoughts...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Came across these nice lines, very true and inspirational...

"Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into a flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light."

"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. [Ed. note: This is true of many values, including kindness.]"

"Give to another human being without the expectation of a return."

Gone in 2 Seconds...

It was a terrible experience yesterday... I was on my way to temple at 07:00pm. I was thinking of something and did not realise that I came in middle of the busy road without noticing fast moving vechicles. First, it was a bike which would have hit me and a second later it would have been a car, thanks to the rider and the driver of those vehicles who applied the brakes at the rite time and I got away, else I would have been in the hospital bed. As soon as I realised that I was in middle of the road and saw fast moving bike and car approaching me like a flooded river, I thought for a second that its the end...

I apologised to the rider and driver for my carelessness and walked my way towards the temple. The same morning the vehicle in which I was travelling to my office would have hit a speeding volvo bus, it was so close that there was one feet distance between the vehicle I was in and the volvo...well I think I have more time left over to spend :)

Woh Lamhe...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I saw the movie Woh Lamhe... and I liked it. Songs are too good and I have been listening to all the songs since a month and never felt bored - the words and the music - nice to hear. The direction and acting in the movie is awesome..its a story which does not end as all the hindi movies end (lived happily ever after)... I bet the movie will be liked by all and its gona be a hit. The main chatracter of the movie - Shiny Ahuja is going to be a big hit, his acting has been too good.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The movie shows to what extent a person can go to get the one whom he loves. Its all about love and care, where the lead character is trying to get his girlfriend's life back to normal. At the same time his girlfriend thinks that he is not true and suspects him. She is suffering from somekind of psychological disease where in she suspects that someone is trying to hurt her. She imagines seeing her old room-mate (who does not exist in reality) and claims that she is trying to hurt her. Even then he tries to convenience her in many ways and gets her back to normal for sometime by taking care and through proper medical treatment. After some days she stops taking medicines and lies to him that she is taking medicines. She goes back to the same state as earlier and dies. After watching the movie I felt so bad for what happened with them, and was thinking that such a thing should not happen to anyone - even to think of a such a story hurts.

I don't say that I don't like movies that have tragic ending, I have seen so many movies which have tragic endings; but this movie has made me think so many times about the story and I have always felt that it would have been so nice if the ending was good and they lived happily ever after...

These lines not at all hold good...

I came across these lines written on a truck while i was on my way to office...

World is a studio, Life is a drama...
We are actors, Money is the director...

i think, instead of the word money; God should have been appropriate... then these lines could have appeared as-

World is a studio, Life is a drama...
We are actors, God is the director...

Money is not the only thing which can direct ones life...and the one whose life is directed by money then that persons life would be very materialistic and he/she cant enjoy the small moments of life...

If money was the director then it would have been hell...

Anger...Anger...Anger

Anger is the worst enemy. In anger i said something which was not at all needed and not relavent to my dearest friend, and the consequence i am facing. I dont want to loose to that friendship. Its not that i did anything wrong intentionally but it was due to the anger which did not allow me to think before i spoke. I just want the things to be back to normal. I know that was a very serious mistake on my part to say something without thinking its impact on others. I agree for every act of ours we need to face the results. Later I realised how bad it was on my part. I just want the things to be back to normal.

Going where???

Sometimes i think where is life taking me... What is happening in my life? To accept the fact I have just one close friend to me. Never told anyone about my life as much as I shared with my best friend. Life is good... It gives an opportunity only once to make such good friends, and that opportunity should not be ignored. Work is not the only thing in life... Childhood days are spent in schools, college days struggling to get a good degree and after that work occupies one and leaves no time for other things in life which even though small can really make a difference.
I know i might be sounding a bit philosophical but the truth is we ignore small things which can bring great happiness by attending to problems, which only increases our tensions and creates a distance between us and happniess...

The only thing is life i value most is not work...nor studies...its relations which make a difference in life...and all other things are secondary...

Monday, 18 September 2006

Very True...

"If you try to hold sand tightly, u can't...it will just slip away" - got to hear this from my friend. Very true... In the same way if we try to hold on relations tightly, even those slip away. Very logical and holds true... Everyone needs thier own space where they can be alone and bothered by anyone...not even by the one who are close to them. At the same time how can a person who cares let the cared one just be sad... i dont think anyone wud let the close one be bothered by any thought or problems!

Its life and one needs to adjust to how the other would feel and ensure that the cared ones are not left alone...

Woh Lamhe...

I was listening to the songs of Woh Lamhe...

All the songs are too good... I liked all the songs...they are too good...
I liked Bin tere, Chal chale, Kya mujhe pyar hai, tu jo nahin...

Listen to these songs...I bet u too wil like it :)

Inspiring...

Some of the best lines i came across...

Worry is the misuse of imagination.
Either I will find a way or I will make one.
Believe that you have it, and you have it.

Happy Independence Day...

Wish you all a very Happy Independence Day...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

15th August...I remember, while I was in school I used to be a part of the parade. I used to start the day at around 6.30am, reach school around 7 in white uniform. They played nice patriotic songs...like "Meri Des ki dharti...", "Ae mere vatan ke logon..." That day used to be always different from the rest of the days. The flag hoisting used to be at 08:00 followed by parade. We a team of around 30 participated in parade. Then lengthy speeches by few and then distribution of sweets. After getting back to home, I used to love watching parade on television live from the capital city. All the channels played patriotic movies and all the ads had the message related to Independence day.

Its such a great to all Indians and the whole nation celebrates this day.

Wish you all a very Happy Independence Day...

Nice movie

Image hosting by Photobucket

Saw the movie Ice Age 2... a very good movie. After leaving office for the day I was thinking of watching a good movie. Came across this movie... When I was studying programming three years back, I always had the desire to make animations. Well I did make some of them but they were not as professional as these movies. The fact is...animations is not a easy task...it takes lots of time to code and design one frame after another.

People who love animations should watch this movie. Good movies, nice music are the one which makes feel relaxed...what makes you feel relaxed???

For one moment i thot it was a dream or I was still sleepy....when i heard it for the second time...I was sure it was not a dream. The weekend was fun...after a long time we meet.

Hard Time...

Its been a hard time for me...as few of my friends (the best people I know) have moved to different cities...It started with my colleague Siva in the month of December who went to Mumbai for a training...which was followed by Mushtaq who went to Mumbai in January as he got a new job which he always dreamt of...a job involving animation and design of computer games...and then Gayatri who was my colleague moved to Chennai... Next month my best friend Raghu whom I know since 7 years is moving out... Its hard time when you are not in touch with the best people you know... Anyways its life...you meet people...have some good time with them and eventually depart leaving away good memories...

E Sanam Mujhse Poocho...

I heard the song "E Sanam Mujhse Poocho.... ... .... Mujhe Tumse Mohabbat hai dewangi ki hadh tak..." on 91FM. Liked the song very much...and was trying to figure out from which movie was this song from. Searched it on the web and found that, the song is from the movie Tumsa Nahin Dekha and also got the mp3 of the song on the web...downloaded the same and heard it again and again and again...may be for atleast 10-12 times. Its a nice song with full of energy and good music...

I dont want to be late...

I was trying to reach a place where I can file an application for an IPO...the IPO was about to close at 17:00 hours and I started from my house at 16:00 as soon as I came from my office. I have found one thing...whenever I have tried to reach a place early and very little time is left I usually endup in a traffic jam waiting for the traffic to move so that I can reach early...it brings so much of tension...and nothing can be done except waiting for the traffic to get cleared...
Atlast I was able to reach 15 minutes before the IPO was suppose to close.

I started...

I have started to read the book The World is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman

The Wait was over...

The wait was over when I returned from office and started reading the book Kane and Abel, which i had left during the climax. The way the story is presented in the book is awesome...a story about two persons born on the same day...a banker and a hotel baron who eventually do everything to destroy each other...a story which covers two world wars, the stock market bubble burst of 1929 and the great depression. If you want to know about what happens with each other read the book... i bet u r going to enjoy it. Well the book is pretty old...but u will enjoy it.

I am eager to go back home and read the book... the time is going very sloooooow...

Very Slow

This week is going very slow... Waiting for the weekend... hmmm still 3 more days to go...

Me a Big Bird...

Got this link from Chloe's Blog... InTeresTing Link...

Big Bird
You scored 77% Organization, 61% abstract, and 67% extroverted!

This test measured 3 variables.

First, this test measured how organized you are. Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.

Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint. For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert. By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more about herself.

You are very organized, both concrete and abstract, and more extroverted.

Here is why are you Big Bird.

You are both very organized. You almost always know where your belongings are and you prefer things neat. You may even enjoy cleaning and find it therapeutic. Big Bird is never sloppy and always under control... pretty good for a 6 year old bird living without a family.

You both are sometimes concrete and sometimes abstract thinkers. Big Bird can be quite dreamy at times and has no problem using his imagination. At the same time he is also practical and can be methodical in his search for answers to questions. You have a good balance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but you also aren't afraid to explore your dreams and desires... within limits of course.

You are both extroverts. Big Bird gets along with everyone. He makes friends easily and always has a positive attitude. You definitely enjoy the company of others, and you don't have problems meeting new people... in fact you probably look forward to it. You are willing to take charge when necessary or work as part of a team.

The other possible characters are
Oscar the Grouch
Bert
Snuffleupagus
Ernie
Elmo
Kermit the Frog
Grover
Cookie Monster
Guy Smiley
The Count

Sunday Long Ride...

ISKCON
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Planned to take a long ride and decided to visit ISKCON Temple. It had been a long time I had visited this place. This place is awesome with an eye catching design of the temple. I was there for an hour and felt good to be there. Bought a statue of Radha Krishna which I was thinking of buying since last year. Chanting of the name Krishna makes me feel good. But now a days the place is too crowded with lot of tourists...By the time I came back I was tired of riding for almost 28 kms. It was a loooooong ride indeed...

Resolution...

Found this on Chloe's blog...which gave me my resolution for the year. Its interesting...never thought I would get one like this...ha ha haaaaaa

Movies...

Saw Madagascar and Chicken Little.

Madagascar
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Zebra in this movie is confused whether he has a black body with white strips or white body with back strips...hmmm even i never thought of it. The role of Penguins is awesome, making master plan to get themselves free from the Zoo. It reflects the desire of animals to be free into The Wild (forest).

Chicken Little
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

One line that I liked in this movie is "Who are you talking about...by chicken little"

Animated movies are fun to watch especially when they are from Disney...Dreamworks... Pixar Animations...

Need to watch King Kong...

Magic Book

Came across this webpage, you question it...it answers.
